The Stables at Stones

The Stables at Stones is one of the Yarra Valley’s most celebrated food and wine destinations.

With its soaring red brick walls and rough-hewn timbers, throughout the late 1800′s this historic building served as the stablehand quarters of a bustling farming community called Castellaville.

After a remarkable conversion that would have impressed Kevin McCloud himself, The Stables now operate as an intimate restaurant space under the helm of Executive Chef Hugh Davison (London’s Kitchen w8, Flemings Mayfair & Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley). Presenting a regional dinner menu on Friday and Saturday evenings and a tapas lunch on Saturdays and Sundays, Davison’s menus are crafted from scratch each week based on the seasonality and availability of local produce.
