Locale Restaurant at De Bortoli Yarra Valley Estate is where the family philosophy of sharing good food and wine with family and friends has come together in a magnificent vineyard setting only one hour from Melbourne.

The restaurant has undergone recent refurbishments to create a more contemporary feel, leading to an urbane yet relaxed dining experience.

Reflecting the family’s Italian roots, the recently changed menu encourages shared platter dining with mixed salumi and tasty antipasti, plus some exquisite risotto and pasta dishes – perfect for sharing over an interesting glass of wine or two.

Pop into Cellar Door beforehand to taste some Yarra Valley favourites such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir or perhaps try some of the newer Italian varieties such as Sangiovese or Nebbiolo Rosé.

Open Thursday to Monday for lunch from 12pm and Saturday for dinner from 6.00pm. The restaurant is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday.
