Yarra Valley Grand
The beautiful Grand Hotel was built in 1888, this hotel in the centre of town is National Trust Classified. She was a family owned business for over 80 years and changed hands in 2007 when Actors Alison Whyte and Fred Whitlock gave the old girl a new lease of life and she took on a new persona which has grown into a funky fun place to be, with modern Australian home cooked meals and a great atmosphere. The decor takes on a mood created by Florence Broadhurst wallpapers and oversized lamp shades and retro furnishings. With the new refurb a large sun deck has been constructed perfect for an afternoon coffee, beer,wine or evening meal.
